Two Christian pastors (names withheld for safety reasons) were arrested in Bangladesh on November 9, 2014. They were holding a meeting to educate their neighbors about Christian beliefs, when police arrived and arrested the 45 people in attendance. A mob of 200 people were threatening the group. All those arrested were released that evening about 10:00, however the two pastors were retained. They were released on bail on November 18th, and are awaiting trial on charges brought by local imams that the two men were inciting Muslims and attempting to make them convert.
